3D Obstacle Avoidance Standard for Mobile Robots and Delivery Cars

Every mobile robot and delivery car needs 3D obstacle avoidance. Lidar is good for building map, localization, and detecting big objects in a longer distance, however, it doesn’t have enough resolution, especially in the vertical direction, to detect small objects to avoid collisions. Our MYNT EYE Depth Cameras output high resolution depth map (>720p) in very high frame rate (>60fps), measure distance up 30 meters, work indoor and outdoor, dark and bright, making it the ideal sensor for mobile robot and delivery car 3D obstacle avoidance
